Hunsinger/Cearwater,FL This was the first year we did the pinwheels for peace. We also put up hundreds of thoughts in the hall written on peace from all over the world from the peace poem site. This got the students thinking about the word, and writing about it. It was a great way to teach symmetry. It was nice doing an installation art piece. A sense of community was furthered. At announcements our music teacher Harriet Hall played a tape of students from music singing fragments from two peace songs. I noticed neighborhood cars going slow when they passed our school's sign.
