10 Days of Peace - Day 1 - September 11th

Each year we create a tribute to remember those who died in the Towers, in the Pentagon, and on the plane on September 11, 2001.

Our events have ranged from as simple as putting out 3000+ pinwheels bearing the names of the victims and the first responders to more elaborate displays of flags and remembrance ribbons.

One thing we do try to do each year is to honor the victims as individuals - creating separate pinwheels, ribbons, flags, etc., for each person who died.

We also have a reading of each of the victims' names and the playing of Taps.
