10 Days of Peace - Day 2 - September 12

Day 2 of our 10 Days of Peace has us placing large signs in our courtyard. These signs have "anti-bullying" quotes on them and set the tone for the coming days of peace.

How did we do this?

We used plywood, cut into various sized and painted the background with varied gradients of blues and greens.

Then we printed the quotes onto acetate and projected them onto the boards, traced the words and painted them in.

As a final step, we applied two coats of polyurethane so that the signs would be waterproof.

To get them to stand up, we used very large screw eyes (from the hardware store) and rebar (from the hardware store).

After September 21st, we remove the signs and put them in storage until the next year.
